We had service done with Cole through a referral. He was incredibly great to work with, thorough,... and clean. His professionalism and desire to do things correctly as opposed to just getting it done and over with is hard to come by. He cleaned everything up, wore a mask at our request the whole time, helped explain what he was doing and why and moved the furniture back after he finished. We have their card now, and they will be our handyman of choice whenever we have a project we need help with. This is the type of service that makes you feel like paying someone for help is a worthwhile investment.read more

I contacted Cole about fixing our couch whose middle seat support had failed after we moved. He not... only went above and beyond in the repair, he also offered to look at or fix anything else we might need since he was there and had time. Cole Chesnut answered our phone call right away and offered to start work in 30 minutes. We were amazed! Cole did a very good job at our house and he is an honest contractor. We had a leaking bathtub... which we thought it was a plumber problem after trouble shooting we found that it was a loose connector. He gave us the quotation with plumber service charge to begin with and when he found that it was not, he adjusted the charge for us. His work was very neat. He had to cut holes in drywall and ceiling for inspection and he fixed it neatly. It's hard to tell that the wall and ceiling were cut. Plus, before starting his work, he covered our furniture, hardwood floor and carpet nicely and also his cleanup. So we didn't not have any complaints with that.I would recommend Agile Building Construction for your coming project, I will have them for our interior painting project this summer for sure!read more

Agile Remodeling Handyman’s spring maintenance checklist will help you stay organized and consistent as you work through necessary home maintenance tasks. It includes some common issues, but not every possibility. Be sure to add extra tasks to the list if you have other issues that are specific to your home. Also, be aware that there are other things which should be done more often, such as testing smoke detectors.

Check this list every year in spring time to extend the life of your home’s building materials, landscaping, appliances, and more.

Spring Maintenance Checklist

Interior

Change furnace air filters.
Inspect the HVAC system.
Inspect air ducts for buildup of dust and mold.
Inspect the washing machine hoses for cracks and the dryer vent duct for lint buildup.
Look for moisture in the basement and crawl space.
Make sure your sump pump is functional.
Clean and inspect window screens for damage.

Exterior

Inspect the roof.
Inspect gutters and downspouts for damage and clean them out.
Trim trees and bushes that are near the house.
Inspect caulking around windows and doors.
Inspect wooden decks, railings, windowsills, and steps for damage.
Touch-up paint as needed.
Pressure wash patios, decks, driveway, walkways, and outdoor furniture.
Inspect outdoor sprinkler heads for function and leaks.
Trim plants around outdoor equipment, such as a heat pump or condenser.
Clean debris from foundation vents and window wells.
Inspect vents around house; foundation, roof, exhaust, etc.

Routine Home Inspections and Maintenance

Inspections can help you prepare and budget for future repairs or upgrades. Routine home maintenance can prevent more expensive repairs in the future. Care for your home and the surrounding property so it will continue to keep you and your family safe and comfortable.
